Following 'devastatingly low Grenache yields' in Santa Barbara, Fingers Crossed let mother nature guide them, and created a broad, Chateauneuf-du-Pape styled red wine blend, instead of the usual mostly-Grenache counterpart to their Syrah. Blending Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Graciano, and Petite Sirah, the result is a bright, smooth, and juicy red, full of strawberry, raspberry, garrigue, porcini and smoked meats in the finish, with seamlessly integrated acidity and tannic structure.

Spiced red and black berry fruits, ground pepper, herbes de Provence, and savory flower notes all emerge from the 2022 Red Wine Life & Death, an incredibly textured, full-bodied red blend that has velvety tannins, a round, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. It's a perfect example of a wine bringing incredible richness and depth without any sensation of weight or heaviness.
