The 2023 vintage of this remarkable Mâcconais Chardonnay brings all the elegance, prowess, and complexity we expect from Burgundy. 'Clos de Jeanne' — commonly referred as just 'clos' — has long been considered amongst the domaine's top wines, and every time we try it we are reminded why. 2023 brings us a direct, perfumed, and intense representation, loaded with orchard fruits, lemon, hazelnuts, brioche, and a subtle spice in the finish. The acidity is markedly integrated, resulting in a near-perfectly balanced wine.

A plot of 0.64ha within Perrières. 1.5m clay on top of a limestone bench, which old vine roots can access. Lemon and lime in colour, attractively open on the nose, very stylish, you don’t feel the weight up front, the purest white apple fruit, a hint of fennel and liquorice behind, beautifully integrated mineral acidity and with fine length.
