The 2020 Zinfandel Old Vines is a powerful, brooding wine marked by searing tannins. Usually the Old Vines has more fruit richness, but in 2020, the tannins are pretty imposing. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, licorice and sweet spice open reluctantly.
